As with everything, committing yourself is usually the hardest part! I have been looking at this page for quite a while!
I started working with timber to create a better life for my family, i have developed a real passion for the design and construction of furniture and timberscapes. Having begun only recently i have been very lucky with some of the projects i have taken on.
I am hoping to bring people up to date with the work I have been doing and be able to talk about current projects from the design to the realities of construction.
I am in the midst of starting my biggest project to date and am waiting in anticipation for the ten tons of oak to turn up at my workshop in Essex. What a busy time i am going to have! It all needs to be painted and cut to the correct length before being shipped down to the job site in Kingston-upon-Thames where I will be constructing it into fencing for a development project.
I am hoping the project is going to take around a month and will try to keep a regular update on how everything is developing. During that project I might have landed another project in north London using Iroko hardwood to make bespoke trellising.
