The brief was enitially to install a window seat with storage beneth. It was then decided that shelving either side intigrated into the window sill would add to the effect, increse storage and make a great feature to the end of the room.

Sample trellis pannel
Reclaimed Oak Table
Under stair wardrobes
Here are a couple of different built in wardrobes I have been working on recently. As the weather has been pretty bad of late I have been very happy for the interior work.
This is a tounge and grooved cupboard for an entrance hall. I completed it before the builders installed the flooring.
These are photoes of a Built in wardrobe in a basement bedroom. Made to fit in an aqward space to maxamise the storage capacity of the room.

Wimbledon Project
The brief : Build four matching pergolas out of green oak.
All the oak came rough sawn so the first obstacle was to plane it all to the correct thickness then cut and joint it all to fit, with help from the groundwork's team I aligned all the uprights to the correct height and spacings from one another. The project lasted ten days mainly due to all the planing that had to go on on site!
The designer and client were both thrilled with the finished result. It was a good learning curve for me and i now relish the opportunity of building more.

Chelsea
The brief was to construct on site trellis for either side of the garden and create and install two floating benches for between planters
The frame work for the trellis had lots of angles to get around, as i wanted to create one whole panel for each side my measurements had to be precise and as they were so big they had to be created on site. I was very pleased with the results as it would have been a lot easier not to frame or create as a whole panel. The finished effect after putting in the extra detail increased the impact the trellis has on the entire garden space.
To create the benches so they tied in with the trellis I laminated batons together and gave them the same framing edges as the trellis. They were then mounted onto a frame work which was attached to the wall.
Having finished the initial brief the client has asked me to return to build a table to match the benches and create a cabinet for the corner of the garden to hold the hose and other outside implements.
I am increasingly happy with how my work is turning out and the feed back and return custom I am getting is very promising!
Kingston
There were multiple items to create for this project. I was particularly pleased with the floating bench made out of Ipe it presented some technical difficulties but once they were overcome the finished product looked amazing and has given the client a lovely place to sit and appreciate their new exterior space
There was also a log store to create using green oak and cedar shingles.
A set of matching compost bins made from green oak with Ipe lids
A Screen made from Ipe to create an enclosed space at the side of the house. It was designed to fit a bench against it.

Chelsea: Soft Wood Trellis Garden Fencing
Although these are not my finest photos and I hope to get better ones, this is an example of the diamond slatted trellis work I have accomplished, the timber used is soft wood and the diamond holes are under an inch across. There was the most extraordinary amount of work involved in producing these bespoke panels, it was a great learning curve and very satisfying to complete them for the dead line. Both client and designer were pleased with the result, so much so that the designer, a Chelsea Flower Show winner, has used my skill set repeatedly since then.
THE BRIEF
Trellis fencing to surround the garden of a terraced house in Chelsea, London.

MY DELIVERY
Hampstead: Hard Wood Slatted Garden Fencing
This was a three week project i recently installed. With the exception of the bin store and gates that i produced on site all the other panels were created in my workshop before being delivered and installed over a three day period. this had two main advantages, firstly i was far more efficient and therefore faster in my workshop and secondly i was not inter-fearing with the other landscapers or the client by being on site the whole time. I particularly enjoyed steam bending the Iroko to match the curved wall, and was very satisfied with the reaction of the designer and client who were both very happy with the result.
The Brief:
Slatted Iroko panels framed and built to specific sizes.
My Delivery:
I steam bent the frame for the arched wall and mounted the panel as a whole on to Iroko posts bolted to the wall, All panels were either wall mounted or postcreted into the ground, the slats and spacings were to a specific design, to either allow light through or to screen behind.
Kingston: Oak Panelled Garden Fencing
Having finished the project and installed over 200m of oak fencing I am pleased with the results. There were a few challenging moments on the way but I managed to finish 10 days earlier than anticipated and achieve a great finish throughout, thoroughly pleasing everyone at Abbiss Landscapes and Q Developments.
The Brief:
To erect oak fencing for two developed houses.
My Delivery:
All the timber was prepared and painted at my workshop in Essex before being shipped down to Kingston where it was installed using hidden screws.
